Feature Twirlers

Olivia Negris – University of Michigan Twirler

Olivia is one of 3 twirlers chosen for the prestigious University of Michigan Marching Band.  The twirlers must “challenge” each week for the opportunity to perform in the Band’s pregame performance.  They then twirl in the Band’s exciting shows at halftime.  This year, the band will travel to games at Notre Dame, Michigan State and Ohio State.  In addition, the MMB has already been preselected to perform at the Big 10 Championship Game.  A 13 year member of the Silver Knights, Olivia attributes her twirling success to the values, work ethic, leadership skills, and life lessons she learned while a member of SK.  “GO BLUE!”
